On the Verge of Victory of Islamic Revolution in order to commemorate the memory of the victims of natural resources, in the presence of the Head of FRWO accompanied by Head of Vilayat -e- Faghih Representative and Head of Central Headquarters for Combating Commodity and Currency Smuggling was unveiled.

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO at the unveiling ceremony of the memorial of natural resources' martyrs stated: "The martyrs of natural resources who sacrificed their lives for natural resources in defense of Anfal and biological security, and this memorial and honoring the status of the martyrs is the least FRWO can carry out."

Mansour noted: "in order to achieve biosafety, biosecurity and food security in the country, preservation of water, soil resources and vegetation cover and protection of natural resources is vital. In this regard, FRWO believes that natural resources management should be managed based on management plans and the issuance of permit to stakeholders for exploitation. In other words, realizing this national objective is also dependent upon management plan by FRWO".

He also reminded that the export of forest, rangeland and agricultural soils is prohibited. Harvesting forest and rangeland soil is a violation of national rights. What is exported from the country is industrial soil. It should be considered that forest and rangeland soil is not exported from the country in the cover of industrial soil.

At this unveiling ceremony, General (Sardar) Moayyedi, Head of Central Headquarters for Combating Commodity and Currency Smuggling reiterated: "The forest rangers are the real Islamic patriots interested in the field of natural resources management, and today, our enemy has targeted the natural resources as the national assets by launching a full-scale economic warfare".

He emphasized that natural resources management position is valuable to Central Headquarters for Combating Commodity and Currency Smuggling. Our job at this Central Headquarters is to make sure that the act of smuggling is not carried out. That is why we cooperate closely with FRWO.
